Reminders for the Week:

*In addition to KA, 2nd grade classes are being quarantined due to the report of a positive test result from a student or staff member in these cohorts. The positive test was reported today, Sunday, 11/15, and the students was last in school on Thursday, 11/12. The standard notification is below. 2nd grade families received a separate notification today.
*After much discussion and prayer, we are postponing our Race for Education to April. Our plan is to have the race on a Friday and the St. Jerome Festival on a Sunday. In the meantime, we are half way to our goal. On Wednesday, we are going to still have some fun activities for "Half-Way Day" including a prayer service, fitness activities, and watch The Lion King to celebrate. All students may wear their gym uniforms and a St. Jerome shirt (any St. Jerome shirt) on Wednesday. We will be selling snacks from the Race for Education for the movie at $1.00 each.
*You can still donate to our Race for Education here. Please help us reach our goal of 20,000 to directly benefit the students of St. Jerome School!
*Our Student Council is sponsoring a pink-themed dress down day on Thursday, November 19th in memory of Mrs. Cimino. All proceeds donated to dress down will be donated to help fund breast cancer research.
*The updated St Jerome Apparel Store is now open with items from the last stores as well as a new selection including winter hats, fleece pull-overs, an alumni shirt, jackets, and flannel pajama pants. These orders close today, November 15th.
*Archbishop Perez has granted the schools of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia an additional day off to use around the Thanksgiving holiday. Therefore, we will be adding Monday, November 30th, to the school calendar as a full day off and classes after Thanksgiving will resume on Tuesday, December 1st. Since November 30th is a hot lunch day, all hot lunch orders for that day will be moved to Wednesday, December 2nd.
