Join the PTA
If you've not joined the PTA this year yet, the PTA would love to connect with you. Membership in the Jefferson PTA allows you to be involved and engage in making Jefferson a better place to teach, learn, and grow for our students and staff. Membership is also a great bargain. It is $8 for individual or $12 for family. Join the PTA with this link: https://jeffersonwildcats.memberhub.store/store?category=Memberships. Credit cards can be accepted straight from the link. We look forward to seeing you and hearing your ideas.
Attendance for Remote and In-person
We are thrilled to have students present at Jefferson and looking forward to starting our 4th week of in-person learning. Although we offer as much flexibility as possible, parents need to make sure that their students is attending school consistently in the correct format (in-person or remote) and at the correct time (AM or PM). Although situations may come up and we certainly understand that an emergency or illness will occur, we can't systemically manage or allow for students that are scheduled to be in-person to switch to remote for intermittent reasons. If a parent chooses to have their student that is scheduled for in-person miss too many days of in-person instruction, we will have to switch them to remote instruction permanently and possibly give their seat to another family if space and availability become an issue. Please make sure that your student attends school at the correct time and the correct format daily.

This program is available for youth ages 18 & younger. Please note the following rules in place for Winter Lunch Pickup:
- Arrival and Pickup: When you arrive to pickup a lunch, park in the parking lot and come into the library to request a lunch.
- Social Distancing: In order to support social distancing, we will be allowed to serve children outside of the normally-required room setting. This means food does not have to be eaten on-site and can be taken home this winter from the library. We will not be holding the lunch program in the library.
- Parent Pickup: This winter, parents and/or guardians may pickup meals and bring them home to their children. Children do not have to be present in order to receive meals, parents can come ask for meals for however many children they have (no proof required) and take them home.
- Meal Times: Meals will be available from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm (while lunch supplies last).
If you or your child would like to pickup a lunch at the library, please wear a face covering as you will be approaching the library and staff. We thank you in advance for your cooperation. Please visit www.vppl.info for further details.
