Google My Maps allows students to create using customized maps where they create the content. Students can locate places around the globe and see them at street view. Students can drop markers onto the map and embed text, photos, or YouTube videos into the markers. Create a route. Measure distance.

Travel Agent
Have students plan a trip to a certain destination. Each student is a travel agent and must mark neat places to visit and eat at within their destination. The students should include pictures and videos with their markers.
Product Footprint
Have students select a product they use everyday. The students will then research their product and place markers on where the factories these products are made in are located. The students will then choose some factories to make travel routes of places the product goes to from that factory.
