"Changing Families" Counseling Group Coming Soon.....
Beth Hill, our school counselor, is starting a group in October for students who have parents that are separated or divorced. This group will be called “Changing Families” and will meet weekly for 6 weeks. This could be a recent change or one from the past; all students are welcome! Children benefit from being in a group with peers who are in a similar life situation. Group members will learn from one another and develop strategies for managing their feelings around the change. Please call or email Beth with questions or to express interest for your child(ren). hille@sycamoreschools.org

MUSIC EVERYWHERE
Thanks to the PTO, our Music Everywhere program gives Montgomery students exposure to a variety of instruments and types of music. Throughout the year, local musicians will come to our school and perform for the students during their lunch. This year's lunchtime performances will kick off onOctober 11th with a student from CCM (UC's College-Conservatory of Music) playing the oboe. Feel free to stop by for lunch with your student or ask them about this experience at home. If you know of a musician who would enjoy playing for our school, please email their information to Sarah Crane.
