Principal's Note
As the last few days of summer break are winding down, I would like to welcome you and your student(s) back to school. I can't believe how quickly this summer has flown by. I hope all of our families had an amazing summer filled with good times and made lasting memories.
Besides enjoying their own families over the summer, our staff has been busy developing curriculum, attending professional development, and planning for a fantastic school year! Together with the parents and community, we will continue to engage and challenge our students while providing a nurturing and safe environment in which to learn and grow. I look forward to building positive relationships to ensure that we meet the needs of your child both academically and emotionally.
Our annual Open House is scheduled for Tuesday, August 23rd. Classrooms will be open with teachers available from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. You will pick up a packet from your student's classroom (if you have more than one Bannes student, it will be your oldest student) that contains the school calendar and a form that will be used for car rider pick up. You can also pick up pre-ordered supply kits.
Other important information:
- Your child’s classroom/teacher assignment and bus route information (if applicable) is available on Infinite Campus.
- The first day of school, Wednesday, August 24th, will be a full day for students in Kindergarten through 5th Grade. Student attendance hours are 7:55 a.m. to 2:25 p.m.
- The first day of school for half-day Early Childhood students is also Tuesday, August 24th. Students in the AM class will attend from 7:55-10:30 a.m. Hours for students in the PM class are 11:50 a.m.-2:25 p.m.
- Pre-K Blended students will come from 11:40-2:00 on August 24th.
- Picture Day is Thursday, September 22nd.
I am thrilled that our Bobcats will be back to school. We have really missed them! On behalf of the entire Bannes family, we look forward to an amazing 2022/2023 school year! If you have any questions, please call our office staff at (708)532-6466.
