On behalf of the Buckingham community, thank you to our 2015-2016 Elementary PTO Board for their time, dedication, organization and commitment to the staff and students at Buckingham. So much happened this year for the good of the school and the support provided to enhance our experience at Buckingham is appreciated.

A Gaga Applause goes to everyone in the Buckingham Community - you have proved you are the mightiest of Mighty Knights. Together we all help in making a Wish Come True for a deserving Bucks County child through Make-A-Wish!
Buckingham went GaGa for Make-A-Wish! The donation numbers are in and we didn't just make our $5,000 goal - we surpassed it and raised over $6,500!
A Reason to Celebrate!
- In a very close race with two classes going MILES above and beyond in raising donations to support Make A Wish - we are proud to announce the winner is.........wait, We have a TIE! Congratulations to our pizza party/extra recess winners: Lady Sobusiak's 2nd Grade Brainiacs and Mrs. Kirsches 4th Grade class. The classes raised an astonishing $2,254 combined!
- Our winner of a soft pretzel party is Mrs. Fillette's 1st Grade Class with a grand total of $512.50!
- A GAGA shoutout goes to both Elijah Leaver who raised a whopping $450.00 in donations and Ben Richlin who had the highest number of donors! Also special recognition to Sophie Ross, Grahm Hamilton, Travis Costantino, Ava Snyder, Ava Spletzer and Sarah Boland who truly went the extra miles with their fundraising efforts!

Attention 1st Grade Students - Book Buddies!
First Grade - Books & Buddies!
Mrs. Kraus is inviting the first graders to bring a small stuffed animal and their favorite book to their last library class as a fun way to end the school year! This is a great opportunity for the students to share their love for reading by sharing a favorite book with their classmates and stuffed animal friends. Please be sure the stuffed animal is small enough to fit in your first grader's back pack.

Last Day of School - June 15
Due to the snow day on January 25th, the Central Bucks School Board approved the last day of school for students will be Wednesday, June 15th (Half-Day Dismissal at 12:10PM; AM Kindergarten Only). PM Kindergarten's last day will now be Tuesday, June 14th. For a one-page calendar format, please CLICK HERE.

Save the Date - 6th Grade Promotion
Dear parents of 6th Graders - Buckingham's 6th Grade Promotion will be held at 7:00PM in the Holicong Auditorium on Thursday, June 9th. It nwill be a great night celebrating our 6th Graders' time at Buckingham!

Spirit Day Assembly - Jabali Afrika/Dress "Like a Tourist" Day
From East Africa’s Kenya, Jabali Afrika, brought their own unique mixture of fusion and African rhythms to Buckingham Elementary School on May 19th. Original compositions came alive on a wide variety of instruments, accompanied by vocal harmonies that form the foundation of modern rock, jazz, blues and more! With their talented dancing and choreography, Jabali Afrika gave a multi-cultural experience that left the audience educated and entertained!

General PTO Meeting - QUEST Review & New Board Election
At the May 19th General Meeting - the Buckingham PTO held their bi-monthly meeting with the school community audience members. At this meeting, we received a review of the QUEST Program after its inaugural year in Central Bucks (courtesy of QUEST Teacher, Mrs. Doherty).
In addition, elections were held welcoming the new members of the PTO Board. Joining our Year-2 Board Members, Co-President - Jennifer Arslan and Treasurer - Lori Tinari will be:
