Mindful Practices
Building Social Emotional Learning in the Classroom
Mindful Practices provides in-class coaching and modeling for districts across the country to empower educators with Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) strategies to embed into their instruction. Relaxed teachers teach better. Relaxed students learn better!
Mindful Practices helps students learn to cultivate awareness of self and others so that they are better able to regulate their behavior and positively contribute to their classroom community.
During these sessions, participants will learn the SEL practices and create their own "SEL Action Plan." This plan will have a clear focus on how Everyday SEL will be implemented during the 2018-19 school year.
