BCIT Medford Newsletter
September 2015
Parents & Students:
The school year has started and the year is already in full swing at the Medford campus. At this point all students should have been introduced to their first semester teachers and have a strong understanding of the academic and CTE standards that their instructors require. Parents and students are reminded to frequent the BCIT Medford web page for information related to programs and events on campus. Links to the Medford calendar can be found on the bottom right-hand side of the Medford main page. You will find the calendar to be an essential tool to stay connected with the different events and upcoming programs at Medford.
Back to School Night is on September 17th at 6:30pm. The evening will begin with a program for new students to Medford and a brief Athletics and Activities presentation. You should have received notification via the Parent Portal and a global call to your home. Please plan on attending this event in order to meet with child’s instructors.
The first exploratory will be wrapping up on September 18th, as the 9th and new 10th grade students will move to their second exploratories on Monday September 21st. Parents please remind your children to do their best during the exploratory courses as this will determine their placement for their tenure at BCIT.
Once again the BCIT Medford family would like to wish everyone a great year and to always feel free to contact the school if you have any questions.
