About the Webinar Series
This series of webinars was held in Term 4, 2012. Over the duration of the series there were over 470 participants from schools and corporate NSWDEC locations. We anticipate further events in 2013. BlogED
A blog (an abbreviation of weblog) is a personal website, organised like a diary or journal, which shows the author’s most recent additions first. It enables the author to write regular entries expressing their view of events. Depending on the permission levels set for blogED, the readers (audience) of the blog are able to create a ‘post’ to a blog or ‘comment’ on a post.

eBackPack
eBackpack is a customised application accessible through the DET portal that provides teachers and students with an online file storage area. It provides personal storage and Shared Workspaces.

To request opening of ebackpack at your school, your Principal should call the ICT Support Desk and request provisioning.
Adobe Connect
Adobe Connect is a web conferencing platform that includes a comprehensive set of tools and features for extending learning beyond the classroom and conventional training environments. It allows computer users in various locations to share events such as meetings and classes.
