No Place for Hate
We are so grateful and proud of our school & community's efforts to help create a safe, inclusive and equitable Community of Kindness at Meadowbrook. We are proud to announce that Meadowbrook has been redesignated a No Place for Hate (NPFH) school for the 2020 to 2021 school year. Special shout out to our Equity Team for your tireless time and courageous conversations, teachers, for facilitating the Advisory NPFH lessons through out the year, and families who attended and shared feedback at our No Place for Hate Parent Focus groups. Last but not least, thank you to our students, who make Meadowbrook the NPFH Community of Kindness that it is!

Change in Calendar -June 4th
Please note that because of students returning to campus four days a week and the discontinuation of the A/B cohorts we have made an adjustment to the calendar for Friday June 4th.
Friday, June 4th, will be an asynchronous day for all students. Students will not report to campus but will need to log into all their classes and complete the assigned work.

Bottled Water Donations Needed
Meadowbrook families, as the temperatures outside continue to rise and our students are actively involved in P.E., we are asking for any donations of cases of water. Our water bottle filling stations continue to be turned on, however many students are forgetting to bring water to school. We would like to be able to provide bottled water to students. Donations will be accepted at the front office from 8am – 3pm Monday – Friday. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
8th Grade Promotion
8th Grade promotion will be held live at MBMS on June 18th at 8:30am on the upper field. Please complete this form, by Friday, May 28, to let us know if your 8th grader will attend this year's live promotion ceremony.
Attendance is limited to 2 people per student. This is to ensure enough space for social distancing. Also, masks are mandatory for all those attending. Please read our promotion letter for more information.
Promotion Singer Needed!
Attention 8th grade singers! Auditions will be held Friday, May 21st between 12-1pm over Zoom for this year’s National Anthem promotion singer. Interested students should complete the google form by Wednesday May 19th. Students will sing the national anthem for a panel of teachers and administrators who will select this year's promotion singer. We hope to “see” you there. Specific time slots and Zoom details will be emailed to students on Thursday morning.
